Flying buffets, events catering and more – Service-Bund has extended its range of Mermaid seafood to include convenience products with shrimps. As usual the trustful cooperation with selected manufacturers, product safety and transparency are the focus of the brand.

 
The existing offer of frozen shrimps and scallops in the basic, pure and wild ranges has been extended to include six finger food specialties – using the farmed white tiger shrimp from Vietnam. They are ideal for catering or snack offers and can be prepared quickly and easily in the pan or fryer, even by kitchen staff with little experience.
 
“A delegation from Service-Bund visited our local production partner in Vietnam and was convinced personally of the quality. Products were selected which make our offer very versatile”, explains Christian Karstädt, marketing manager of Service-Bund, who is responsible for the Mermaid brand. All the chosen products achieve the high standards set for Mermaid in terms of taste and appearance, and also in terms of hygiene, quality control and production conditions. Two products in the Mermaid Convenience range, TK Butterfly Shrimps and TK Torpedo Shrimps, are also ASC-certified.

The current offer of Mermaid Convenience:

1. TK Butterfly Shrimps: ASC-certified, shrimps (butterfly cut) in batter with tail segment, frozen individually
2. TK Torpedo Shrimps: ASC-certified, shrimps in batter, with tail segment, frozen individually
3. TK Prawn Parcels: prawn preparation in thin spring roll, pre-fried in form of a parcel, frozen individually
4. TK Lotus Shrimp Dumplings: prawn preparation in thin spring roll, pre-fried in form of a lotus flower, frozen
5. TK Oriental Shrimps: shrimps with tail segment, peeled, raw, oriental dough, frozen individually
6. TK Potato Shrimps, potato nest with shrimps: shrimps with tail segment, cooked in a potato preparation, frozen individually
